What do you need to bring to Youth Market?
I traded at the first market in September and did very well. The market was
well supported and many of us sold out! There are a few simple and general things that I recommend you take on the day:
Products – You need to bring products otherwise, people will not see
your items.
Signage and Pricelists – People want to know how much you are selling
your stuff for and who you are.
Pen – Very Useful Tool!
Paper/Notepad – Needed to take orders for my products.
Calculator – If you have awkward change, then this is a quick and easy
way to find the correct amount.
Information about the product and samples – People want see what it is
and details about it.
Bags and Boxes – you will need to put your item in something for people
to take it away in.
Lunch, Snacks & Drinks – You need to make sure you have something to
eat and drink as you cannot really leave your stall.
Warm Clothes – It was a frosty morning in September and the next is in
December! I think it will be a lot Colder!!!
Food Stalls will also need:
Disposable Gloves – A good thing to bring if handling food, although
never touch food after you have used them with money.
Tongs, Slice, Knife & Other utensils – Never touch Food with your bare
hands, always use a utensil or gloves.
Samples – People like to try, before they buy!
Allergy Information – It’s essential that you bring details of all the
ingredients in your products. This is because anyone who is allergic to
any food, needs to see your ingredients.
I would like to wish all the Traders, a great day at the Youth Market! It is a
great experience! See you all on the 12th December 2015 in The Co-Op Alley!
